Like everything in Canada, everything is really complicated for stupid reasons, including our economic issues: Too much red tape, and overinflated bureaucracy, make it hard to build stuff here unless fast-laned by a politician for PR points. A complicated tax system that has taxes added to it on a quarterly basis for the past couple of years makes everything more expensive. Salaries did not increase in accordance with costs of living (steady increase) or housing (almost logarithmic increase). Add to it the lack of investment opportunities due to the complex tax system and the economy is hurt badly (the majority of job increases in the last couple of quarters were due to public sector jobs, while the private sector shrank in some months), adding to the stagnant salaries. For comparison, the average household income in Canada is about ~80k CAD, whereas in the US it's ~100k CAD. It's hard to live, the population is on a decline (also because of cultural brainwashing that kids are horrible and you shouldn't have them. Most of my friends who do not want kids list financial reasons, but they are always after "I want to have fun in life") so to supplant that Canada is wide open for immigration. Immigration increases the GDP magical number, but when looking at real GDP per capita we are stagnant for the past decade. Because of all the red tape, the infrastructure does not develop at the same speed as all the new people coming in. That means services and housing do not keep up. Because the biggest asset most Canadians own is their house, there is an interest of not building too many houses to create scarcity, causing a constant housing shortage. Bottom line: we are bringing more people to inflate the value of everything while not creating enough. We are straining the economy to increase the value of everything we have here through scarcity.

Graduated from college in Louisiana, from graduate school in Alabama, high school in Michigan, abortive first try at graduate school in Ohio. As a lifelong Virginian with centuries of North Carolina ancestry I see the White Race delusion and the Black Race delusion as catastrophic to the mindsets of all these northern and souuthern states. In VA and NC we are getting WOKE to the FACT that the White Race and Black Race are as fictional as the Red Race and Yellow Race. All us European Americans and African Americans here are COUSINS trying to embrace our multiiethnic ancestry, finding our SIGNAL drowned out by NOISE from "the North" and "the South." ANY state where people are stuck in belief in the White Race and Black Race is a DANGER ZONE for anyone historically WOKE. Sorry for the CAPS but any place people think they BELONG to White Race or Black Race is crazy town.

There's one main reason why Australia punches so far above its weight and is so economically strong as well as providing a lifestyle others can only dream of - we are pretty much self sufficient for most things. Especially must haves like all types of food, grain, oil, minerals, coal, natural gas etc.... We need nothing from other countries - we want them. There's a difference. That's why Australia didn't so much as get a runny nose during the GFC. Being an island it's also extremely difficult to come here. No-one's walking here, put it that way. Our mining, farming and growing technical industries are the back bone of the healthy economy. We sell lots of stuff overseas. We buy way less back.

1:38 No, this rosy outlook is bs. It's population is not that well educated. A subset is, but theres an enormous number of uneducated poor workers as well. Brain drain has also affected turkey significantly. Another catastrophic issue that Turkey faces is lack of the fundamentals--food, water, and energy. It's a major energy importer of food and energy so it's subject to the whims of the market. To make matters worse, turkey is drying out very rapidly. It's so bad that barely any water is making it to Iraq such that the state might fail. When you have the food, energy, and water trifecta working against you, it represents your economy will struggle greatly and be dragged behind by a massive anchor. Turkey is looking terrible overall, id give it a 3/10

Africa is one of the last places on earth left to be exploited by globalism. It has a disproportionate amount of the world's young people and poor which is what corporations look for. The economic explosion that's going to happen there in the next hundred years is going to be amazing. I just wish I could be around to see it when it happens.😢 It's ironic that the "success" of European and Eurocentric countries is the thing that's going to make all this possible. Aging populations and plutocrat friendly societies will be the undoing of most wealthy Western countries.

The West, unabashedly, can do whatever the alliances they want even if it is against the detriment of other nations. When now their excesses are backfiring on them, they resort to cheap politcal rhetoric that "even if it seems innocent move if it is harmful it must be stopped". You MUST back off and get off your bully and jealous mindset. For years USA benefitted from foreign currencies being tied to US dollar. As a result USA git richer and richer while other curriences git weaker to the point of bankrupcy. While US dollar is a fiat currency with NO one-to-one backing by the gold. US keeps printing money to fund illegal wars, and the common man is forced to pay more taxes and higher taxes while the rich is not taxed. The rich use debt to be rich and to avoid taxes

I don't hate Boomers, however it is generations after them that is the problem Gen X and Gen Y who allowed stuff to happen; for example voting in Policies and legeslations that do not benefit all and voting in bills that only a single group of people who will benefit from it.
